Description:
The Ogham collection of which this ring is part of was inspired by first known text discovered in Orkney. The Ogham writing that read ‘a blessing on the soul’ was found on a whorl stone at Buckquoy, Birsay, approximately 500 AD.
The hidden words and message in the Ogham ring design reads therefore ‘A Blessing on the Soul’. It is interesting to note that the saying ‘Bless You’ has survived from Pictish times to this day.
